Create 2012…my plans for the year ahead.

cre·ate

1. to cause to come into being, as something unique that would not naturally evolve or that is not made by ordinary processes.

2. to evolve from one’s own thought or imagination, as a  work of art or an invention.

I like having a word or a phrase for each year, I debated about create last year and used focus instead.
I want to enjoy the act of creating new jewelry and components with no pressure, like shows and orders. Create for  the sheer joy of creating.
I plan on creating a lot this year not just in my jewelry making but in my life.
  • create order
  • create a healthier body
  • create more meaningful relationships starting with my own family
  • create a tips section on my blog
I hope to share more on how I balance out my life by sharing tips and tricks I use for myself, my family and my jewelry making business.
Tip number one is to create a menu each week  for dinner. When I first started doing this I wrote down all the meals we typically ate and used it as a reference.
Now, I ask my family about their favorite meals and that helps me come up with a plan for shopping and cooking.
Here is what is on the menu this week: tacos, by request, pasta with chicken, soup and grilled cheese, salmon, chicken pot pie and steak for my Dad’s birthday.
Most meals include a salad and cut up veggies or cooked veggies and a side dish of rice or potatoes.
What are you going to create this year?

I love this word create and that you are going to use it is so many ways. I have a plan to get fit while having fun (Xbox 360 Kinect – tons of fun and lots of exercise) and I want to concentrate on learning to create my own components this year rather than finished jewelry.

Thanks for sharing… I’ll be coming back to see how things move along for you :)

Love your ‘create’ plan…I want to spend more time working on my Etsy shop, getting rid of clutter…. (to free up more space in my studio)…..keep my web-site up-to-date…. & concentrate on some new designs for my lampwork beads! All while looking after my family!!
