I was giddy for this week’s assignment, focus on taking time for myself.
Although, I am pretty good at getting in me time, I was really looking forward to making sure I did things that made me feel good, every day of the week with no guilt.
As the week was winding down and it was time to write my post it occurred to me the thing I valued the most this week was being unplugged.
Saturday, I walked with my hubby in Great Falls Park with our dog Cody. It was a beautiful day and I snapped a few pictures hoping one might work for the theme.
On Sunday I treated myself to Kerry’s Aspire to Wire e-course.
On Monday I got to work on the e-course and focused on the lessons and creating.
I made sure to get my 4 workouts in this week including a session of Yoga and I never have my phone when I am exercising and no cameras allowed!
Today, I enjoyed some quiet time reading magazines, sipping tea and adding a new twist to a favorite snack. I love snacking on apples and peanut butter, but added a bit of cinnamon…yum.
I hope everyone had a great week and enjoyed time doing something you love.

What a wonderful week. I love your wire work and can’t wait to see more. Those apples .. Yum!
Ooooh, those apples look good! Assuming that you are in Great Falls, MT…one of my favorite places, I used to live in Calgary and visited all the time. Beautiful area to enjoy yourself in!
Oooo, I love the first picture! Love things growing from rocks. And peanut butter on apples with cinnamon. Sounds like a great week. Your jewelry reflects well on the wire course.
Great Falls Park – such a great place to walk and take pictures! Looks like you enjoyed yourself this week! And btw, your projects for the Aspire to Wire class turned out fantastic!
Absolutely gorgeous jewelry and photos…what a nice week you had! Apples an PB are a fave snack for me too…and I LOVE that mug…is it handmade?
what a great week!! love the jewellery, especially! (not so keen on your snack though – don’t like cinnamon – but apple and peanut butter sound scrummy!)
[no. 13 this week]
I think being unplugged is what was so enjoyable about my being away this past week as well, well put. I love that tea mug , I am an oolong tea drinker, brew up loose tea in an old fashioned percolator, so calming sipping hot tea. Your wire wrapping looks beautiful, love those earrings!
Gosh you’ve really got this fine tuned – I must take a leaf out of your book! Love the pics and you’re work work is great.
What a wonderful week you had Sandi!! Good for you! The apples look so yummy and I love your tea cup! Most of all I love the pieces you are working on from Kerry’s class. Beautiful!!
What a great week for you!!! I love that you take such good care of yourself and allow time for YOU! I have a hard time getting in excersise because it seems more like torture to me. How fun that you signed up for Kerry’s class. You made some wonderful pieces!
Loved your photos! What a beautiful place to take a walk that must have been. Your wire work is fantastic! Sounds like you had a great week!
Your photos are wonderful and the time you took for yourself and the activities your did sound heavenly!! I too prefer to be unplugged – doesn’t happen often enough!

What a great week you’ve had! You’re apples look delicious by the way!
beautiful wire work – and would join you in that tea
Beautiful week timeline, I love it! Love your wire work – and I need to try those apples (never occurred to me to add peanut butter, we don’t have that item – peanut butter – in our culture, so I overlook it most of the time).
I’ll make myself some tea now, the morning started not so well and I need some relaxing time
What a great way to spend some time for yourself; a beautiful park with the person you love! I also love what you created in Kerry’s class. What a great week!
Oh, I do like how you take time for yourself! I’m thinking I need to unplug more often and find something else to do. I love the earrings you created!
Unplugging sounds so good. I would eat apples and peanut butter every night during my first pregnancy. I have never tried it with cinnamon.
Hi Sandi – you had a nice week Your earrings are awesome! I have to try the cinnamon on the peanut butter apples it sounds delicious!
Sounds like you had a good week. Me too.
Hi Sandi,
Now that sounded like one wonderful week a walk in the park with the ones you love. Getting your workouts in, Yes! Enjoying a quiet moment drinking tea reading a mag and eating some yummy apples with peanut butter and cinnamon, I am going to try that one.

Isn’t Kerry’s class wonderful?! You did an awesome job – with the projects and with your me time. And you shared it all with great pictures!
I am inspired the way you are taking good care of you. Love your wire work and yes, apples with peanut butter is a great idea.
I love all things cinnamon but never would have thought to add it to my apples and peanut butter! I will definitely try this tomorrow. Nice mug too!
I love peanut butter and apples too.
I read Great Falls and thought you were a fellow Montanan but then checked your shop. You make beautiful jewelry.
Sounds like you had a wonderful week! Peanut butter, cinnamon and apples huh? Sounds yum!
oh wonderful! I love that you went totally unplugged! That seems almost impossible to do these days! You are an inspiration to me. I MUST get more workouts. No excuses! I love the idea of cinnamon on the pb with the apples. I will be trying that for sure. And I have yet to sit down and create with Kerry. I have been having a lot of fun bookmarking my favorites and will get to them all soon (as soon as my next Big Rock, my sales tax prep, is complete!) Enjoy the day! Erin
Wow-good for you!! I have never tried the cinnamon with the pb & apple-I will now:) Great pictures. I just love to see plant-life popping through the cracks of rocks and such. And your wire work is fabulous! You had a great week for sure:D
Wow! The thought of unplugging is daunting – like eating your fruits and veggies! And your wirework is a wonderful example of the fruits of unplugging. Marvelous!
Such lovely photos and what a wonderful week it sounds like you had. I hope this one’s just as nice!
Delightful photo of the plant in the rocks. Wonderful wire work. What a great week. Even with lots of time structure and making plans makes it go much further and have greater meaning.
What a nice week with plenty of “me” time. I love those stitched pieces from Kerry’s class.
